Do you need encouragement from God regarding healing?

As my family have taken steps to expand this ministry that God has called us to, we have experienced the attack of Satan. In our “fight of faith” God has given us 10 points of encouragement including scriptures to help build our faith, especially in the area of divine healing. I believe that these 10 points will provide encouragement to many of you.
The points He gave are these:
- Proverbs 4:20-23 says, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Satan will tell you lies…he is the father of lies. He will want you to hear words contrary to God’s and sow them into your heart. The next points are God’s words that should be in our ears, eyes and hearts.
- God’s will, as written in 3 John 1:2, is that we should prosper and be in health.
- Jesus paid the price for our healing. Isa. 53:5 and I Pet. 2:24 state that “by His (Jesus) stripes we are healed”.
- God promises that “no weapon formed against us will prosper” in Isa. 54:17. (Sickness is one of Satan’s weapons).
- The peace of God will keep your heart and mind through Jesus according to Phil. 4:7. Satan is oppposite of God and he wants you to have unrest and he wants to bring doubt and unbelief and confusion in your mind. God is peace and order. Through your faith in Jesus, God will keep your mind and heart at peace.
- 2 Cor. 10:4,5 says we are to bring into captivity every thought that is not in alignment with God’s word. The battlefield Satan wants to play on is the mind. It is imperitive that we renew our mind through the word of God and make sure our thoughts are consistent with what God says despite our circumstances.
- Think on honest, just, pure, lovely thoughts and the God of peace will be with you according to Phil. 4:8, 9.
- God will supply all of your needs according to Phil. 4:19.
- God has given you authority through the Holy Spirit and your relationship with Jesus Christ over Satan. It is Satan that you battle not the sickness or attack on your body. Luke 9:1 says, Then He called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
- And finally, 2 Tim. 1:7 says that He has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
We have used these 10 points and the scriptures to fight Satan and win. God has never lost a battle and He is not about to start losing now when you need Him. Jesus fought Satan using the word of God. We too should do this in our battles. For we know that we don’t battle against flesh and blood but against principlities, powers and rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places according to Eph. 6:12.
We will only lose the battle if we fight it with our own strength. The battle is God’s and He will reign victorious.
Praise God!
