Believe in what you don’t see

John 20:29, Jesus says to Thomas, ” Thomas, because you have seen me, you believed, Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Without faith it is impossible to please God – If we trust in only what we can see or prove, we limit God and His miracle working power in our lives.
God’s words and promises need to be the source or our vision. If our actions line up with what God has spoken vs. what we can see we will experience the fullness of God. We know this because it is written that faith without action is dead. Truly if we walk by sight we are blind.
Walking by faith is the way to open the door to the miraculous.
Hebrews 11:4-31 talks about the faith of the patriarchs. How Noah by faith built an ark and preserved the human race. How Abraham by faith did not let go of the promises made to him that he would be the father of many nations. How the Israelites by faith crossed the red sea and by faith the walls of Jericho fell down. Faith has great power because, according to Hebrews 12:2, is authored and finished by Jesus.
Allow faith to be your vision through God’s word and allow Jesus to guide you in your journey. Jesus’ nail scarred hands are there to lead you. He has given His all to you and asks only that we trust and have faith in Him. If He died for you He certainly is now not going to lead you to a place of destruction. Have faith in Him. Put your complete trust in Him. Refuse to live only by what you can see but live a life of faith that is abundant.
