Walk the Talk

Psalms 15 asks this question, “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?  who shall dwell in Thy Holy Hill?  The passage then provides the answer in the verses that follow…”He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart”.

In other words, the person who will make habitation with God is someone who “walks the talk”.  This is a person whose life is a reflection of Jesus.  This a a doer of the word.  This is someone whose words line up with scripture and whose actions are pure and holy.  This is a person who speaks life into situations and stands firm on God’s word and exudes hope in every situation.

If we “walk the talk” we will have habitation and residency in God’s presence.  We aren’t merely visiting God or vacationing with Him to a high place.  We will dwell with him.

God wants us to abide in Him.  If we “walk the talk” we will serve Him and dwell with Him we will live in His presence.
