Are you in a covenant relationship with the Lord?
So let’s look at it in the sense of the relationship we should have with our creator. He wants a covenant relationship with us. He wants us to choose Him over everything else in life. But it is our choice to make. If we give our lives to Him fully, the end is eternal life with Him in Heaven. But if not, after we die we will have Hell to live in, for the rest of eternity. God cannot exist with sin. It separates us from Him. … If on the other hand we ask Jesus to come and live inside of us, our old sinful person is re-born into a new child of God. And the Bible says that with that adoption we are given a home in Heaven. It is God’s covenant promise to us.
